Inspection Powers: REITs and associates must produce documents, answer on oath, and cooperate with inspecting officers. Every REIT, parties to the REIT and associated persons must produce books, accounts and documents and furnish statements and information for an inspection, provide assistance and cooperation to the inspecting officer, who may examine persons on oath (including employees, directors, holdco or SPV(s) and others connected with the REIT) and obtain authenticated copies of documents, books and accounts from persons in custody or control of such material.
