<h1>REIT manager must oversee investments, development, asset maintenance, contracts, disclosures, compliance, NAV, distributions and stakeholder redress</h1> The manager is empowered to make investment, development and disposal decisions for the REIT's underlying assets and must ensure legal, marketable titles and enforceable material contracts; investments must follow the REIT's strategy and regulatory limits. The manager must manage and maintain assets, arrange insurance, appoint and supervise valuers, auditors and other service providers, oversee construction and development, compute and declare NAV and distributions timely, file offer/listing documents and ensure accurate disclosures, maintain segregation of REIT activities, redress unitholder grievances, submit periodic reports to the trustee and regulator, ensure compliance with applicable laws and appoint a compliance officer.
