Decision due in 30 days.</h1> If the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) decides not to grant a registration certificate to a trust applying under regulation 3 of the Real Estate Investment Trusts Regulations, 2014, it must provide the applicant a reasonable opportunity to be heard before rejecting the application. The decision to reject must be communicated to the applicant within thirty days. The term 'applicant' was replaced with 'trust' in the 2018 amendment to these regulations.
