MEIS benefits for handicraft and handloom products require export documentation verifying their status. If there is uncertainty regarding a product's classification as handicraft, a certificate from the Development Commissioner (Handicraft) is necessary. Customized fashion garments are defined as those tailored or manufactured upon specific customer requests or orders. These provisions are part of the Foreign Trade Procedure 2015-2020, revised from December 5, 2017, to March 31, 2023.
