Average Export Obligation under EPCG scheme is computed from prior years' exports excluding those already used to meet obligations. Computation of the Average Export Obligation under the EPCG scheme excludes exports already counted for fulfilling specific EO within their valid EO period in the preceding three years; applicants with more than three years' existence aggregate exports for the past three years and divide by three, while applicants with fewer years use the actual years of existence as the denominator, and the resulting average applies to same and similar products in the licensing year.
