<h1>Registrar's Authority: Clause 38 Empowers Request for Info from LLP Members; Non-Compliance Fines Up to 25,000.</h1> Clause 38 of the Limited Liability Partnership Bill, 2008, grants the Registrar the authority to request information from individuals associated with a limited liability partnership, such as current or former partners, designated partners, or employees. These individuals must provide the requested information in writing within a reasonable timeframe. If they fail to comply or provide unsatisfactory responses, the Registrar can summon them to appear before him or a designated official. Non-compliance without a lawful excuse can result in a fine ranging from two thousand to twenty-five thousand rupees.
