Penalty for LLP non-compliance: LLP and each partner face statutory fines for specified contraventions. Contraventions by a limited liability partnership and each partner of the principal duty in subsection (1) of section 7 attract a statutory fine with a specified minimum and higher maximum; contraventions of subsection (4) and (5) of section 7, and of sections 8 and 9, likewise attract a separate statutory fine range with the same minimum and a lower maximum, creating parallel monetary liability for the LLP and every partner.
