of <h1>Expenditure-tax Act Section 6 Amended: Expanded Roles for Additional Directors and Commissioners from June 1, 1994.</h1> Section 6 of the Expenditure-tax Act has been amended, effective June 1, 1994. In subsection (1), the term 'Deputy Director' is replaced with 'Additional Director of Income-tax, Additional Commissioner of Income-tax, Deputy Director.' In subsection (3), 'Deputy Commissioner' is replaced with 'Additional Commissioner of Income-tax or Deputy Commissioner.' These changes expand the designations of officials authorized under the Act.
