of <h1>Amendments to Section 34 of National Housing Bank Act: New Reporting Requirements and Terminology Updates Explained.</h1> Section 34 of the National Housing Bank Act, 1987, has been amended by the Finance (No. 2) Act, 2019. The amendments include replacing the phrase 'at any time' with 'at any time or on being directed so to do by the Reserve Bank.' Additionally, the term 'housing finance institution accepting deposits' is changed to 'housing finance institution which is a company.' A new sub-section (4) is added, requiring the National Housing Bank to submit a copy of the inspection report mentioned in sub-section (1) to the Reserve Bank.
