of <h1>Amendment to Section 35: 'Housing Finance Institution' now 'Housing Finance Institution which is a Company'; 'NHB' replaced with 'Reserve Bank'.</h1> Section 35 of the National Housing Bank Act, 1987, is amended by the Finance (No. 2) Act, 2019. The amendment specifies that the term 'housing finance institution' is replaced with 'housing finance institution which is a company' in the opening portion of the section. Additionally, in clause (b), the term 'National Housing Bank' is replaced with 'Reserve Bank.'
