Mode of payment expanded to include prescribed electronic modes, broadening the payment mechanisms under section 269SS. The amendment substitutes the requirement to receive payments into a bank account with receipt into a bank account or through such other electronic mode as may be prescribed, thereby authorising prescribed electronic modes as valid mechanisms for payment under section 269SS.
