Aadhaar consent for children requires parental consent, permits post majority cancellation, and protects benefits despite missing Aadhaar. Aadhaar enrolment of minors requires parental or guardian consent and disclosure of enrolment particulars. A child Aadhaar holder may apply after attaining majority for cancellation in the manner prescribed and the Authority must cancel the number. Children shall not be denied subsidies, benefits or services for failure to authenticate, to produce proof of Aadhaar possession, or, where no Aadhaar is assigned, for not producing an Aadhaar number if an enrolment application is produced.
