        Aadhaar enrolment entitlement: residents may obtain an identity after biometric and demographic verification, with mandated disclosure and access rights. Every resident may obtain an Aadhaar number by submitting demographic and biometric information; the enrolling agency must inform the individual of intended uses, classes of recipients for authentication sharing, and the right and procedure to access information. The Authority shall verify the information as prescribed by regulation and issue an Aadhaar number, and may generate an alternative virtual identity for the individual as specified by regulations.
