<h1>Aadhaar Act mandates ex-officials to seek government approval for related jobs, bans certain engagements for 3 years post-tenure.</h1> The Aadhaar Act, 2016, imposes post-office employment restrictions on the Chairperson and Members of the Unique Identification Authority of India. After leaving office, they must obtain prior approval from the Central Government to work with any organization associated with the Authority's work during their tenure, for three years. Exceptions include employment with government entities. They are also prohibited from representing parties in proceedings involving the Authority, using privileged information for advice, or engaging with entities they had significant dealings with during their term, for three years post-tenure.
