In addition to this role, the Chairperson is empowered to exercise and discharge other powers and functions of the Authority as prescribed by the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits, and Services) Act, 2016. These responsibilities are carried out without affecting any other provisions of the Act.
