of <h1>Central Government Can Issue Policy Directions to Aadhaar Authority Under Section 50 of Aadhaar Act, 2016.</h1> Section 50 of the Aadhaar Act, 2016, grants the Central Government the authority to issue policy directions to the Authority responsible for implementing the Act. The Authority is required to comply with these directions, except in technical or administrative matters. Before issuing any direction, the Authority should be given a chance to present its views when feasible. The Central Government's decision on whether a matter is a policy question is deemed final.
