Parental consent for child Aadhaar enrollment required; youth may cancel Aadhaar shortly after turning eighteen without being denied benefits. Insertion of section 3A mandates parental or guardian consent and specified information at a child's Aadhaar enrolment; allows a child Aadhaar holder to apply for cancellation within six months after attaining eighteen years, obliges the Authority to cancel as regulated; and prevents denial of subsidies, benefits or services to a child for failure to authenticate, to furnish Aadhaar possession proof, or where no Aadhaar is assigned if an enrolment application is produced.
