of <h1>Section 57 Removed: Private Entities No Longer Allowed to Use Aadhaar for Identity Verification Under 2019 Amendment Act.</h1> Section 57 of the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016, has been omitted as per the Aadhaar and Other Laws (Amendment) Act, 2019. This amendment removes the provision that allowed private entities to use Aadhaar authentication for establishing the identity of an individual for any purpose.
