Eligibility for this position requires at least ten years of experience in a judicial or executive government post, consumer or investor protection, corporate legal practice, or service in a public financial institution or regulatory body. The Stipendiary Ombudsman holds the same powers as a regular Ombudsman and receives fees or allowances as determined by the Board.
