of <h1>Securities Board can appoint Stipendiary Ombudsman with 10 years experience under Regulation 9 of 2003 Ombudsman Regulations.</h1> Regulation 9 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Ombudsman) Regulations, 2003, allows the Board to appoint a Stipendiary Ombudsman from a prepared panel for specific matters within a designated jurisdiction. Eligibility for this position requires at least ten years of experience in a judicial or executive government post, consumer or investor protection, corporate legal practice, or service in a public financial institution or regulatory body. The Stipendiary Ombudsman holds the same powers as a regular Ombudsman and receives fees or allowances as determined by the Board.
