of <h1>Ombudsman Offices to Be Located at SEBI HQ; Sessions Held Locally to Speed Up Complaint Resolution</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Ombudsman) Regulations, 2003, stipulate that the Office of the Ombudsman is to be located at the Board's Head Office. If multiple Ombudsmen are appointed, their offices may be situated at other Board offices or designated locations. A Stipendiary Ombudsman appointed for specific complaints will be located as specified. To expedite complaint resolution, Ombudsmen may hold sessions within their jurisdiction as deemed necessary. The Board is responsible for providing premises, infrastructure, and staff support for the Ombudsman and Stipendiary Ombudsman offices.
