of <h1>Salaries of Parliament Officers Increased to Four Lakh Rupees Retroactively from January 1, 2016, per Section 3 Amendment.</h1> Section 3 of the Salaries and Allowances of Officers of Parliament Act, 1953, has been amended by the Finance Act, 2018. The amendment changes the salary specified in sub-section (1) from 'one lakh twenty-five thousand rupees' to 'four lakh rupees.' This change is retroactively effective from January 1, 2016.
