Electronic issuance of customs orders via automated risk based selection now authorised, enabling orders through customs systems. An amendment permits issuance of orders electronically through the customs automated system on the basis of risk evaluation using appropriate selection criteria, authorising a risk based automated mechanism for electronic processing under the Customs Act.
