          <h1>Finance Act 2018: Amendment to SEBI Act Section 15JB Requires Settlement Amounts to Go to Consolidated Fund of India.</h1> Section 15JB of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992, has been amended by the Finance Act, 2018. A new subsection (5) has been added, stipulating that all settlement amounts, except for disgorgement amounts and legal costs, realized under this Act must be credited to the Consolidated Fund of India.
