Electronic issuance of customs orders via automated risk based selection permitted, enabling orders through the customs automated system. Amendment authorises orders under the proviso to section 51 of the Customs Act to be made electronically through the customs automated system on the basis of risk evaluation using appropriate selection criteria, and retains the ensuing further proviso.
