Commencement of amendments to the National Housing Bank Act takes effect upon official notification as prescribed. The amendments in Part IX to the National Housing Bank Act, 1987 under the Finance Act, 2018 shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint; the requirement of official notification is the condition precedent to the Part's commencement.
