Customs automated clearance: electronic orders authorised based on risk evaluation enabling system based selection for customs clearance. Amendment to section 47 permits issuance of customs orders electronically through the customs automated system on the basis of risk evaluation using appropriate selection criteria, supplementing clearance by the proper officer and inserted into the existing proviso.
