This addition stipulates that any prohibitions, restrictions, or obligations concerning the import or export of goods, or their clearance, must be executed under the Customs Act if they are notified under it. This applies to any existing laws, rules, regulations, orders, or notifications, with exceptions or modifications as deemed appropriate by the Central Government. The amendment will take effect from a date appointed by the Central Government through an official notification.
