Board discretion to impose penalties expanded, allowing the Board or senior officer to levy monetary penalties under the Act. Amendment to section 19H introduces reference to 19FA and alters mandatory wording so the Board may, rather than shall, act; it permits monetary penalties to be levied either by the Board or by an officer of the Board of at least Division Chief rank, enabling delegated enforcement of penalty powers.
