Regulation 45 Allows Correction of Clerical Errors in Orders; Bench Can Act Independently or on Party Request
Regulation 45 of the Company Law Board Regulations, 1991, allows for the correction of clerical or arithmetical mistakes or errors in any order of the bench resulting from accidental slips or omissions. These corrections can be made by the bench on its own initiative or upon application by any party involved. The regulation was amended in 1992 to clarify this provision, maintaining the bench's authority to rectify such errors at any time.
