of <h1>Regulation 5 on Chairman Vacancy Procedure Omitted by 1994 Amendment to Company Law Board Regulations.</h1> Regulation 5 of the Company Law Board Regulations, 1991, which addressed the procedure for filling a vacancy in the office of the Chairman, was omitted by the Company Law Board (Amendment) Regulations, 1994, effective from July 25, 1994. Prior to its omission, the regulation stipulated that if the Chairman was not appointed or if a casual vacancy occurred, the senior-most member of the Board would assume the Chairman's functions until a new Chairman was appointed.
