Article 105 Amended: Privileges of UK House of Commons Replaced by Pre-Section 15, 44th Amendment Act Privileges
Article 105 of the Constitution was amended by the Constitution (44th Amendment) Act, 1978. In clause (3) of Article 105, the reference to the privileges of the House of Commons of the UK Parliament and its members and committees at the commencement of the Constitution was replaced. The new reference is to the privileges of that House and its members and committees immediately before Section 15 of the 44th Amendment Act came into force. This amendment became effective on June 19, 1979, as specified in the official notification.
