Applications for registration must be made to the Board in Form A and be accompanied by a non-refundable application fee as prescribed in Schedule II. Applicants must seek registration in one of two categories: Category I, authorised to undertake all permitted merchant banking activities, and Category II, authorised to undertake all permitted activities except managing public issues of equity shares proposed to be listed on the main board.
