Applicants for merchant banker registration must file Form A supplying corporate particulars, organisation chart, directors and key management details, associate companies, detailed business experience across merchant banking activities, client lists, infrastructure and business plans if new to merchant banking; provide financial statements including capital structure, resource deployment, income by service line, audited accounts for three years, major shareholders, bankers and auditors; disclose disputes and economic offence involvement; obtain signatures and declarations; and, if requirements met, receive a Form B certificate with registration code MB, valid unless suspended or cancelled by the Board.
