Inspection obligations require registrars and transfer agents to produce records, grant access and assist inspecting authorities. Regulation 18 requires directors, proprietors, partners, officers and employees of registrars and share transfer agents to produce books, accounts and documents and furnish transaction information when inspected; the registrar must allow reasonable access to premises, permit examination of records and computer data, provide copies of relevant materials, and ensure persons are available for examination or statement-taking, while all must give reasonable assistance to the inspecting authority.
