of <h1>SEBI to Reject Certificate Applications Not Meeting Regulation 6 Criteria; Applicants Can Request Reconsideration Within 30 Days.</h1> If an application for a certificate of registration under regulation 3 does not meet the criteria in regulation 6, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) will reject it after allowing the applicant a chance to be heard. The refusal will be communicated within thirty days, including the reasons for rejection. An aggrieved applicant can request reconsideration within thirty days of receiving the refusal notice. SEBI will then review the decision and provide a written response to the applicant as soon as possible.
