          <h1>Inspection procedure: default requirement of reasonable notice, with power to order no notice inspections in public interest.</h1> Regulation 17 requires the Board to give reasonable notice before inspecting registrars to an issue and share transfer agents, and binds those persons to discharge inspection obligations. It also permits the Board, by written order when investor or public interest so requires, to direct inspections without prior notice and to empower an inspecting authority to undertake and enforce the inspection.
