of <h1>SEBI Updates Registration Process for Research Analysts with New Amendments; Certificates Issued in Form B or C.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) grants certificates of registration to research analysts upon satisfaction of compliance with specified requirements. Upon fulfilling these requirements and payment of registration fees, a certificate is issued in Form B for full-time analysts or Form C for part-time analysts, under the First Schedule. The Board may impose terms and conditions deemed appropriate. Additionally, individuals or partnership firms registered as investment advisers may also receive registration as research analysts, subject to similar terms and conditions. Recent amendments have been made to these provisions as per the notifications issued in December 2024.
