of <h1>Amendment to Section 77: New Deadlines for Charge Registration Introduced with Additional Fees for Late Compliance.</h1> Section 77 of the principal Act has been amended by the Companies (Amendment) Ordinance, 2019. The amendment replaces the first and second provisos in sub-section (1) with new provisions. It allows the Registrar to permit registration of charges created before the ordinance within 300 days and charges created after the ordinance within 60 days, subject to additional fees. If registration is not completed within these periods, charges created before the ordinance can be registered within six months from its commencement, and charges created after can be registered within an additional 60 days, both requiring prescribed fees.
