of <h1>Amendment to Companies Act: New Disqualification Clause Added Under Section 164 for Non-Compliance with Section 165(1).</h1> Section 164 of the Companies Act was amended by the Companies (Amendment) Ordinance, 2019. In sub-section (1), a new clause (i) was added following clause (h). This new clause states that an individual is disqualified if they have not complied with the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 165.
