of <h1>Section 14 Amended: Public to Private Company Conversion Needs Central Government Approval, Pending Applications Resolved by Tribunal</h1> Section 14 of the principal Act is amended to stipulate that any alteration converting a public company into a private company requires approval from the Central Government, following the prescribed application process. Additionally, any application pending before the Tribunal at the commencement of the Companies (Amendment) Ordinance, 2019, will be resolved by the Tribunal under the previous provisions. Furthermore, in sub-section (2), references to the 'Tribunal' are replaced with 'Central Government.'
