        Search and seizure powers permit entry and seizure in import/export premises under prescribed conditions and applicable CrPC procedures. Central Government may authorize persons to exercise search and seizure powers in premises connected with import or export of goods, and in premises related to provision or use of services or technology where the provider avails foreign trade policy benefits or deals in specified services or technologies, subject to prescribed requirements, conditions and officer approvals. Searches and seizures under this provision shall, so far as may be, follow the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure relating to searches and seizures.
