Continuance of existing export-import orders: prior orders remain operative unless inconsistent with the new Act. Prior orders made under the Imports and Exports (Control) Act continue in force and are deemed made under the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, provided they are not inconsistent with the provisions of the 1992 Act; any inconsistency operates to the extent of the conflict.
