International cooperation for anti money laundering allows information exchange and enforcement assistance, subject to notified conditions and qualifications. Section 56 authorises the Central Government to conclude agreements with foreign States to enforce the Prevention of Money Laundering Act through information exchange and investigative assistance, and to make implementing provisions by notification; it also allows the Government to notify conditions, exceptions or qualifications governing the Chapter's application to contracting States.
