Power to amend the First Schedule via notification subject to parliamentary laying and joint disapproval or agreed modification. Central Government may, by notification, add to or omit enactments from the First Schedule; a draft notification must be laid before each House of Parliament for a consolidated period of thirty days, and if before the expiry of the following session both Houses agree to disapprove or to modify it, the notification shall not be issued or shall be issued only in the agreed modified form.
