Authority duties in Special Economic Zones require development and management powers enabling infrastructure, export promotion and fee levying. Duty of each Authority to develop, operate and manage its Special Economic Zone by undertaking measures it deems fit, including development of infrastructure, promotion of exports, review of functioning and performance, levying user or service charges or rent for use of Authority property, and performing other functions as may be prescribed.
