Protection from liability for government and officials acting in good faith under the Act, barring legal proceedings. Section 48 bars suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding against the Central Government and the Chairperson, Members, officers and other employees of the Board Approval Committee, the Authority and the Development Commissioner for anything done or intended to be done in good faith under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, thereby providing a procedural shield for government actors acting within the scope of the Act.
