of <h1>Tax Rate Changes for Securities: Options Tax Up to 0.1%, Futures Tax Up to 0.02% Starting Oct 2024.</h1> The Finance (No. 2) Act, 2004, is amended in Chapter VII, section 98. Effective October 1, 2024, the amendment changes the tax rates in the Table under serial number 4. For the sale of an option in securities, the rate is increased from 0.0625% to 0.1%. For the sale of futures in securities, the rate is increased from 0.0125% to 0.02%.
