of <h1>Section 111 amends First Schedule of Customs Tariff Act: immediate Third Schedule updates and Fourth Schedule updates 1 Oct 2024</h1> Section 111 directs amendment of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act as specified in two appended schedules: the Third Schedule effects immediate modifications, and the Fourth Schedule introduces further changes taking effect from 1 October 2024. The provision solely mandates those schedule-based updates to the tariff schedule without altering other parts of the Act.
