of <h1>Section 108 Amended: Assistant Commissioner or Equivalent Can Now Perform Central Registrar Duties in Multi-State Co-op Societies Act</h1> Section 108 of the principal Act is amended to include that, in sub-section (1), clause (i), the words 'or any person authorised by him in this behalf, not below the rank of Assistant Commissioner or equivalent' are added following the words 'Central Registrar.' This change allows a designated person, with a minimum rank of Assistant Commissioner or equivalent, to perform duties previously restricted to the Central Registrar under the Multi-State Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Act, 2023.
