of <h1>Finance Bill 2021: Amends Customs Act Section 149, Enables E-Authorization & Amendments via Automated System.</h1> Clause 89 of the Finance Bill, 2021 proposes amendments to section 149 of the Customs Act. It introduces two new provisos allowing electronic authorization or amendment of documents via the customs automated system based on risk evaluation. Additionally, it permits importers or exporters to make specified amendments on a common portal as determined by the Board.
